"Indian Birds" app is the only application available on android market which displays bird names in regional languages such as Marathi [मराठी], Hindi [हिन्दी], Sanskrit [संस्कृत], Gujarati [ગુજરાતી], Bengali [বাংলা] and Kannada [ಕನ್ನಡ]. "Indian Birds" app works in offline mode and can be moved to SD Card. "Indian Birds" app is very easy to use as a "field guide" at birding sites as it has various information like bird's relative size, sexual differences, wildlife schedule, habitat, food, interesting facts, nesting period, etc. captured for each bird."Indian Birds" app as name suggests - covers most of the common species of birds found in India. The application is in sync with our own bird repository and hence includes the birds which you will find in our website @ http://birds.TheNatureWeb.Net

In addition to list of bird names in Marathi [मराठी], Hindi [हिन्दी], Sanskrit [संस्कृत], Gujarati [ગુજરાતી], Bengali [বাংলা] and Kannada [ಕನ್ನಡ]; the application also has a quiz that gives you an opportunity to find out how many birds you know with their names and increase your knowledge about birds.
"Random Bird" desktop widget comes very handy as it displays "Bird Profile" on home screen. The bird displayed in widget is randomly selected from the "Indian Birds" app bird collection. NOTE: This feature does NOT work when the application is moved SD Card.
"Random Bird Photo" desktop widget displays Bird Photo on home screen. The bird photo displayed in widget is randomly selected from the "Indian Birds" app bird collection. NOTE: This feature does NOT work when the application is moved SD Card.
